BENGALURU: Kumbalgodu police said that they have solved a murder of a 58-year-old man by arresting his two sons. They said a family dispute is the reason for the murder.
The accused Javed Pasha (22) and Akram Pasha (20) are residents of Kumbalgod and run a business of Plaster of Paris designs. They are accused of murdering their father Amanulla, a doctor.
Police said the incident was reported on November 26 and the brothers had filed a police complaint stating that their father was found dead at their step mother’s house in Bhuvaneshwarinagar near Kumbalgod. The police sent the body for post mortem. The report revealed that Amanulla was strangled to death. Based on the report, police questioned Javed, who confessed that he and Akram had gone to their step mother’s house and killed Amanulla. They alleged that that his father was not taking care of their mother and did not give any money or property to run the family. Furious over his behaviour, they hatched the plan to murder their father, police said.
