Jaipur: Jhalawar police on Friday arrested a hospital employee, identified as
Santosh Nirmal, who provided ketamine – an anesthetic drug – that was
allegedly used for murdering intelligence bureau (IB) officer Chetan Prakash.
According to the police, Santosh currently works at Jhalawar Janana (Women’s)

The body of 32-year-old Chetan Prakash – an intelligence officer with Delhi
intelligence bureau (IB) – was found on the roadside on Bhawanimandi Marg in
Jhalawar on February 14. The police said that he was murdered over an illicit
relationship of his wife with a Rajasthan ACB constable identified as Praveen
Rathore who is currently on the run. The police have arrested Praveen’s
accomplice Shahrukh.
There were no injury marks on Chetan’s body. It was found during investigation
that Chetan was administered an overdose of Ketamine by the accused
persons.
The police allegedly found that Santosh Nirmal who worked at the women’s
hospital had arranged for Ketamine for Praveen.
Chetan Prakash Gelana was last seen alive when he met his parents in
Ramganjmandi on February 14. He left for Jhalawar in a train after meeting the
relative and then went missing. His body was later found on the roadside on
Bhawanimandi Marg.
Police said that Praveen and his friends kidnapped Chetan and then injected an
overdose of Ketamine into his body.

Jaipur: Jhalawar police on Tuesday said that 32-year-old Chetan Prakash – an
intelligence officer with Delhi intelligence bureau (IB) – was murdered over
an illicit relationship of his wife with a Rajasthan ACB constable.
One of the accused, Shahrukh was arrested, while the police have launched a
manhunt for constable Praveen Rathore, and two others. Praveen – the main
accused – posted in Jhalawar ACB. It is alleged that Praveen was close to
Chetan’s wife and he murdered the IB officer with the help of his friends
because he was a hurdle in their relationship.
Chetan Prakash Gelana was last seen alive when he met his parents in
Ramganjmandi on February 14. He left for Jhalawar in a train after meeting the
relative and then went missing. His body was later found on the roadside on
Bhawanimandi Marg. After preliminary investigation, the police suspected some
foul play and registered an FIR.
Mahadev Meena, father of Chetan Prakash, also registered an FIR with Kotwali
police station in Jhalawar against his daughter-in-law and four others for
attempting to murder the IB officer on January 5.
In the FIR lodged on Sunday, he accused Chetan Prakash’s wife, Praveen Rathore
and three others including Shaqir, Shahrukh and Fareed. He alleged that they
staged an accident in which a truck tried to run the IB officer over on
January 5. Mahadev Meena, a resident of Housing Board Colony, alleged that his
son – who is posted as Information Officer with Delhi IB – had come to
Jhalawar in January.
“On January 5, Chetan was going somewhere on a Scooty when a truck tried to
run him over. It hit the Scooty. Chetan sustained serious injuries, but
survived. His vehicle was damaged,” the father alleged in the FIR.

का पुलिस ने खुलासा कर दिया है। आईबी अफसर चेतनप्रकाश की हत्या का सबसे बड़ा
खुलासा पुलिस ने मंगलवार को किया। चेतन की हत्या में उसकी पत्नी भी शामिल थी।
हत्या वाले दिन भी वह इंटरनेट कॉलिंग के जरिए मुख्य आरोपी प्रवीण के संपर्क में
थी। इससे पहले जितनी बार प्रवीण ने आईबी अफसर को मारने के लिए साजिश रची, अनीता
उन सबमें शामिल थी। दरअसल, कांस्टेबल प्रवीण राठौर के आईबी अफसर की पत्नी से अवैध
संबंध थे। इस कारण दोनों के बीच लड़ाई हुई और प्रवीण ने अपने साथियों के साथ
मिलकर चेतन को किडनैप किया। उसके बाद एनेस्थीसिया का ओवरडोज दिया और नाक दबाकर
सांस रोक दी जिससे उसकी मौत हो गई थी । ये था पूरा मामला...
- शहर के भवानीमंडी मार्ग पर दिल्ली में तैनात आईबी अधिकारी का 14 फरवरी 2018 को
शव मिला था।
- सदर थानाप्रभारी संजय प्रसाद मीणा ने बताया था, मृतक चेतन प्रकाश दिल्ली आईबी
में कार्यरत था बुधवार (14 फरवरी) शाम 6 बजे रामगंजमंडी में परिजनों से मिलकर
झालावाड़ के लिए रवाना हुआ था। 8 बजे तक उसके घर नहीं पहुंचने पर परिजनों ने फोन
किया, लेकिन फोन नहीं लगा।
- रिश्तेदार ने उसकी तलाश शुरू की तो रात करीब साढ़े 8 बजे वह सड़क किनारे बेहोश
मिला तो वो उसे हॉस्पिटल ले गए जहां उसे डॉक्टरों ने उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया
था।
चरित्र पर शक रहा हत्या की वजह
- प्रवीण का घर आना-जाना चेतन और उसके परिवार को खटकता था। उनमें विवाद भी हुआ
था, लेकिन हत्या की असली वजह बनी आईबी अफसर का अपनी पत्नी के चरित्र पर शक गहराना
रहा। दरअसल चेतन को शक था कि छोटा बेटा उसका नहीं है। वह बेटे का डीएनए टेस्ट
कराना चाहता था।
- अनीता और प्रवीण को राज खुलने का डर सताने लगा तो उन्होंने चेतन को रास्ते से
हटाने की साजिश रची। एक के बाद एक 6 हमले कराए, हर बार चेतन बचता गया, लेकिन 7वें
हमले में वह नहीं बच सका। पूरे घटनाक्रम का खुलासा करते हुए एसपी आनंद शर्मा ने
बताया कि आईबी अफसर चेतन प्रकाश की हत्या में उसकी पत्नी अनिता मीणा के लिप्त पाए
जाने पर गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया। वारदात में उसकी अहम भूमिका रही है।
बेटे का डाइपर तक बदला लेकिन फिर भी गहराता गया शक
- जांच अधिकारी एएसपी राठौड़ ने बताया कि पूछताछ में अनिता ने बताया कि उसके पति
चेतन को छोटे वाले बच्चे पर भी शक था कि वह उनका नहीं है। इस बात को लेकर उनके
बीच कई आपसी क्लेश व झगड़ा भी हुआ। इस पर चेतन व परिजन ने बच्चे का डीएनए टेस्ट
कराने की बात कही थी।
- शक की वजह ये थी कि अक्टूबर 2017 में अनिता का प्रसव हुआ। उस समय प्रवीण की
लगातार वहां मौजूदगी रही। प्रवीण ने बच्चे का डाइपर तक चेंज किया। परिजनों के
ऐतराज करने पर भी उनके रिश्तों पर प्रभाव नहीं पड़ा। इससे चेतन को प्रवीण व अनिता
के संबंधों के प्रति शक पैदा हो गया था।
- प्रवीण की नजरों में चेतन खटकने लगा और उसे रास्ते से हटाने का प्लान बना लिया।
चेतन को रास्ते से हटाने के लिए प्रवीण ने शाहरुख को 3 लाख की सुपारी दी थी। चेतन
की जान लेने के लिए बदमाश दिल्ली तक गए, ट्रेन से धक्का देना चाहा, लेकिन 6 बार
वह बच गया था।
स्कूलिंग के समय से ही दोनों जानते थे एक-दूसरे को
- अनिता ने पूछताछ में बताया कि 7th क्लास में पढ़ाई के दौरान ही प्रवीण से
मुलाकात हुई, 2008 में वह टीचर बन गई थी और उसी साल प्रवीण भी पुलिस में भर्ती हो
गया।
- प्रवीण ने अनिता से शादी का प्रस्ताव भी उसके घरवालों से सामने रखा, लेकिन वे
सहमत नहीं हुए। जनवरी 2011 में चेतन प्रकाश से अनिता की शादी हो गई और उसी साल
प्रवीण की भी शादी हो गई।
- 2014 में प्रवीण की पत्नी टीचर बनी और उसकी पोस्टिंग असनावर में जहां अनिता
कार्यरत थी, उसी स्कूल में हो गई। तब प्रवीण और अनिता की दुबारा मुलाकात हुई।
- संबंधों पर पर्दा डालने के लिए 2015 में अनिता ने प्रवीण को रक्षाबंधन पर घर
बुलाया, राखी बांधी और पति से परिचय करवाया लेकिन पिछले साल से उनमें नजदीकियां
बढ़ गईं।
मां व भाई के सामने अनिता ने स्वीकारी अवैध संबंध की बात
- जांच अधिकारी एएसपी राठौड़ ने बताया कि पति की हत्या के षड़यंत्र के आरोप में
गिरफ्तार अनिता ने मुख्य आरोपी प्रवीण राठौर से संबंध की बात उसकी मां-भाई के
सामने पूछताछ में स्वीकार की है।
- अनिता से जानकारी में सामने आया है कि प्रवीण उसके प्यार में इतना डूब गया था
कि वे उसके पति से बेइंतहा नफरत करने लगा। उसके मोबाइल पर अाने वाले पति के मैसेज
का जवाब तक वह नहीं देने देते था। फेसबुक पर पति के साथ पोस्ट किए फोटो भी उसने
हटवा दिए।
प्रवीण के कहने पर सबूत नष्ट कर दिए
जांच अधिकारी एएसपी छगनसिंह राठौड़ ने बताया कि हत्या के बाद अनिता से जांच के
दौरान उसके मोबाइल का एनालिसिस किया तो उसमें पति से तनावपूर्ण दांपत्य जीवन के
बारे में वाट्सएप पर कई सामग्री थी, बाद में उसने सभी मैसेज नष्ट कर दिए थे। इससे
उसकी वारदात में लिप्तता का संदेह बढ़ गया। पूछताछ में उसने बताया कि प्रवीण ने
ही उससे बचाव के लिए ऐसा करने को कहा था।
