SURAT: The Surat police have solved the murder mystery of city based young textile mull owner on Thursday. Police have arrested the diesesed's wife and her ex-lover in this case. Dishit Jariwala, 25-year-old textile weaving unit owner, was found murdered in his home at posh Parle Point area on Monday night and jewellery worth over Rs 60,000 worn by his wife was looted.

According to the police, Dishit's wife Velsee had an affair with Suketu, but they could not marry due to social issues. Meanwhile, Velsee married to Dishit and Suketu also got married. Velsee and Suketu were in touch on social media. Suketu's marriage life was disturbed, while on the other hand, Velsee was also not satisfied with her marriage life. Finally, they decided to kill Darshit. They planned for the same. Velsee met Suketu on Monday morning and told him to kill Dishit at evening as there would be nobody at home except herself, her daughter and Dishit. Suketu came to Velsee's home after 9pm on Monday with his driver and killed Dishit. They tried their best to show the police that Dishit was killed by robbers. But after examination of the circumstances, cops suspected insider role in Dishit's murder.

The couple have one-year-old daughter.

Suketu, Velsee and Suketu's driver have been arrested by the police.

Earlier, police investigation into the murder of Dishit Jariwala, 25, had revealed that it was a planned attack by someone who knew the family well. Police was suspecting role of an insider in the attack on helpless Dishit and doubted it to be a case of robbery though attempts have been made by those involved to show it as a murder for loot incident.

Dishit lived at Sarjan Society bungalow with wife Velsee, one-year-old daughter Fiona, parents Hitesh and Falguni and brother Chitrang. His uncle Anil also lived in the same bungalow, but had a separate entrance. On Monday night when Dishit was murdered, he was with his wife and daughter at home while his parents had gone to Mauritius along with his uncle's family on a vacation.

During the day Velsee had gone to her parents' home in the city and Dishit went to pick her up in the evening. After having dinner there, they returned home. They stopped at a doctor's clinic at Parle Point on way and had arrived home at around 9.30pm.

Just before their arrival at home, some unidentified men came there in an auto-rickshaw that had a poster of Hills Nursery on its back side. After carrying out a reconnaissance, the auto-rickshaw returned at 9.45 pm when Dishit's car arrived. There were two men in the auto-rickshaw. The entire movement has been captured in the CCTV camera installed in a neighbouring bungalow.

The two men entered the house and put a knife on the neck of Dishit, as per the statement of Velsee. Police have found chili powder in parking, toilet of first floor and kitchen of the bungalow. Apart from the alleged robbery of jewellery of Velsee, no other valuables were looted from the house. The robbers did not take any jewellery that Dishit wore.

Later, the two men left in Dishit's silver coloured Honda Jazz car which they abandoned a kilometre away from the bungalow on Gaurav Path. Police recovered the vehicle later. The bungalow and the car were examined by experts from Forensic Science Laboratory.

Dishit and his family run textile weaving units on Ved Road and Rudarpura area of the city. Jariwala family is one of the reputed textile business families of Surat.
