Crime Patrol: Mumbai Man Kills Brother-in-Law Suspecting Illicit Relations With His Wife (Episode 85, 17th Feb 2012)

Mumbai, Feb 16: Mumbai Police has arrested three persons on charge of conspiring to murder a man by throwing him from a running train between Dahisar and Mira Road railway stations.



The three, included Mangesh Salkar, who suspected his brother-in-law Babu Salkar of having an illicit relationship with his wife and decided to kill him.



The decomposed body of 30-year-old Babu Salkar was found on Feb 12 between Dahisar and Meera Road railway stations. Police found he had disappeared since Feb 8.



After investigation, police zeroed in on the victim's brother-in-law Mangesh Salkar and found both had gone to work on Feb 8 but only Mangesh returned to his room.

After receiving the body, police grilled Mangesh who later confessed to having murdered Babu.



According to Mangesh, his wife and Babu were having an affair that led to former’s murder with the help of his two friends, Santosh Bhoir and Mastery Channale.



All the three were produced before the Borivali Court on Wednesday which later remanded them to police custody till Feb 21.
